The James
R. Wilson Award
The
WSC Board of Directors may, from time to time, and at its sole discretion,
choose to recognize individuals or organizations that have provided
exceptional service to the conference by awarding the James R. Wilson
Winter Simulation Conference Board of Directors Award (or simply
the James R. Wilson Award). Service to the conference may take any
form that the Board finds to have had a significant or sustained
positive impact on any aspect of the conference, with particular
emphasis on service that might not be recognized by other means.
Nominations may only come from active members of the Board, and
the award will only be given if at least 3/4 of the Board members
vote in favor. Recipients of the award will receive a plaque and
citation at the Plenary Session of the Winter Simulation Conference.
